The Kehlsteinhaus - Hitlers Eagle's Nest

from £35.00

This is one of my favourites. This photo carries a deep emotional significance for me. We hiked for 4 hours to reach the summit of this mountain, standing at an elevation of 1,834 meters above sea level. Its history is intertwined with the Obersalzberg, which, between 1933 and 1945, served as the second most important center of power for the Nazi regime, after Berlin. Decisions that shaped persecution, war, and genocide were made here. The climb was the most challenging thing I’ve ever done, but the euphoria upon reaching the top was unmatched—though I did need some time on the ground to recover. Afterward, I launched the drone to capture this stunning image of a place that tested me physically, mentally, and emotionally.
